Do You Have What it Takes to Fail?

Rejection Therapy, 100 days of failureWhy You Should Know Jia Jiang

The issue that comes up over and over again with entrepreneurs is that they are afraid to fail and afraid to take risks. This fear limits their ability to take action and to succeed. That is why I write so many posts (4 Step to Fail Productively) about overcoming perfectionism and embracing failure

Well this guy, Jia Jiang has taken embracing failure to different universe. His goal isn’t to succeed. His goal is to fail. More specifically, his goal is to fail 100 times. He calls it “rejection therapy.”

It’s pretty amazing.

Intrigued?  Check out this video – it is his 47th attempt at rejection.

Watching Jia be “all-in” the question I am asking myself and the one I’d like to ask you is: “How committed am I to failing?”

I’m going to consider exactly how I can incorporate failure into my life on purpose. Will you do the same?

His pitch should have included to prevent people’s hands from selling like gas. Cold day is fine but smell of gas is bad. If they forget to wash it, they might get cancer or sick.

I love living in NJ. I hate it when I leave NJ and have to pump gas. I end up smelling like a car mechanic.

Very interesting idea. Once you fail repeatedly it becomes no big deal. I like it!

  3. Just wondering, have any of you decided to fail this week?
