Michael VanDervort is a practicing HR professional with over 25 years of experience in building strong workplace cultures, labor relations, and fostering strong communications within organizations. Michael has held leadership positions in several Fortune 500 companies, and is currently a corporate geek at Florida’s largest employer. Michael is a hands-on practitioner in social media, inside and outside the workplace. Michael writes and speaks about social media and human resources to business groups across the United States. Michael holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Michigan and an MLIR in Human Resources from Michigan State University.
